The Launch Base Zone is excellent remixing material for two reasons... One, the original could actually be pretty annoying, and while often remixed, isn't quite everyone's favorite track. So it's easy to improve. Two, it's so aptly named! The bass line in this tune is a wonderful launch platform for all kinds of exciting possibilities. In this case, I've stayed closer to roots than usual, and the result is an excellent remix. Enjoy!

This is actually my third Ristar mix, but the previous two have been rarely heard. The good news for Ristar fans is that this is the best of the bunch. Simply imagine the 'Stage 1' melody, awash with wooden tones and a lot of techno nonsense; that's getting there. All kidding aside, it's an anthemic, soaring yell of synth and drum machine, and it was a treat to create. Hope you like!
